World 2000 Entertainment Limited is a privately held Irish registered company formed in 1994 to develop, produce and distribute feature and television entertainment for the global market. While a relatively new company, the promoters have between them fifty years of experience in the American, European and Australian film and television industries.

The company has access to the Irish tax incentive program (Section 481) and has been responsible for securing finance and providing production services to productions such as Braveheart, Moll Flanders, Scarlett, The Old Curiosity Shop, Angela's Ashes, Reign of Fire and The Count of Monte Cristo and other Irish co-produced projects.

Additionally the company co-produced Animal Farm for Hallmark Entertainment and TNT, Durango for Hallmark Hall of Fame, Mystic Knights for Saban Entertainment and Fox, Barbara Taylor Bradford's Her Own Rules for Adelson Entertainment and CBS and Angela's Ashes for Paramount.
The company is currently developing projects in the feature, television and animation arenas. It has co-produced with Irish Dreamtime, Pierce Brosnan's company, the feature film The Nephew set in Ireland which went on general release in August 1998. In animation it has secured the services of Jimmy Murakami (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Snowman, When the Wind Blows) to co-produce and direct animated television series and specials.
Most recently, World 2000 availed of the European Co-Production Convention whereby it co-produced in association with Spyglass Entertainment two high profile feature films The Count of Monte Cristo and Reign of Fire. Both feature films are availing of both Section 481 and Sale & Leaseback (the UK incentive) as a result of a unique financial package put in place by the World 2000 team.

· Establishment of Irish Production company and audit and liquidation of same

For each specific production the company provides an immediate cost benefit analysis of a particular project in terms of Section 481, UK Sale & Leaseback and other EU incentives.
